The things you love eat in moderation and start slowly taking them from your diet until you feel like you can eat them without craving it so much and don't over indulge. In my experience with meat I slowly start taking red meats out my diet and started making more healthier choices such as fruits and vegetables. Then I stopped drinking alcohol and soda pops because these things gives you less energy teamed empty cals for the alcohol. With sodas there is a chance for increase sodium intake which can lead to increase abdominal girth, edema, and Urinary tract infections. The main thing is preparation, storage, and consumption. Prepare your foods or make a list so when you go grocery shopping you will shop from your list and not your stomach meaning don't shop when you are hungry. Store your foods in proper containers, so it will not spoil quickly or lose it's flavor. Which can cause you to choice a quicker item such as fast food or junk food for temporary snacking pleasures or again to kill hunger cravings. Consume smaller portions and drink plenty of water let your food digest before you lay down for bed at night because this can cause GERD, an acid reflex disease. Then make you sure you get plenty of rest and exercise at least 25min daily or 3 or 4x a week. Also working out with someone or a team usually helps with motivation, but remember self motivation is key you have to be mentally prepared. This is my suggestion hope it helps.
